This form is designed for use by the workers who build the bicycles, so it must minimize data entry. First they select a bicycle, by entering a serial number. Clicking the "Oldest" button brings up the oldest order that is not completed. As they complete various steps, workers click on the corresponding entry points, which automatically inserts their EmployeeID and the date. To save time, workers might opt to install all components at one time, then click the "Install All" button. As components are marked as installed, the inventory count is automatically adjusted.
When a bicycle is shipped, its order form is locked so workers cannot change the computer listing of the components.
