Data Mining Application: Analyzing data for business needs.

Data mining, business intelligence, or data analytics represent ways to examine and analyze data. The goal is to find patterns in time, determine how attributes interact, find clusters of items, and identify items that are purchased together.

Data mining involves several skills:

1. Database tools including queries and reports to retrieve data.
2. OLAP or cube browsing to interactively examine subtotals.
