Validate Totals. This section is useful even if you do not use the data generators. It is used to check the stored totals against the transaction data. The one caveat is that you should be careful in checking the totals for pricing of bicycles and purchase order totals. These computations rely on set prices for components. The database does not keep historical prices, only current values. If you change the pricing for the components, the earlier totals would appear to be incorrect. Use the date range to limit your corrections to current orders.
Run this routine periodically to clean up round-off errors and data entry errors.
