JerryPost.com
ebooks and more by Professor Gerald V. Post

Status short answer: This site and the books will remain here for as long as they are being used by people. That will probably be at least a few years given the life cycle of technical textbooks.

History: The servers this site runs on have always been ones that I have supported through a business Jerry and I started at the end of the 1990s, Time-Post.com, Inc. Because of that, I knew quite a bit about the site, what server(s) it was running on, how it was configured, etc. I didn't know anything about the content or applications on the site other than what Jerry had talked to me about in the past. When Jerry passed away, I took over the support of the site and business. Over the last year and a half I've learned enough about the web site, how the books are paid for, assigned, delivered, etc. to keep that running.

Over the course of 2015 the customers of Time-Post.com, Inc. were moved to other solutions. At the end of 2015 Time-Post.com, Inc. was dissolved. This site and all other business portions of it were moved under my primary consulting business, MadCat Software, LLC (which is in serious need of site redo), doing business as JerryPost.com. The site and business will remain that way as long as feasibly possible. Which in my mind is forever, but someday I do actually hope to retire, just not for a few more years.

The books themselves will remain as they are. Unfortunately I do not possess the knowledge, experience or ability to update them properly. Therefore I just can't take on that challenge. There is one exception: At the time of his death, Jerry was working on a new revision to his MIS textbook, the 7th edition. The first five chapters were completely done and the remaining chapters had been rewritten but not finalized. All the text for the new chapters and any other material that was updated will be published here. Access to the MIS book will give you access to the 6th, 5th (previous) and 7th editions.

If you ever have any questions about the status of this site, the books or the JerryPost.com business let me know. I'm happy to answer any question as honestly as possible.
